Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GeoPulse mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Matador Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using GeoPulse, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use GeoPulse. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request verification of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
3. Virtual Token Economy
GeoPulse operates on a virtual token system. Tokens have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services outside the platform. Key points:
- New users receive a starting balance of 2,500 virtual tokens at no cost.
- Additional tokens can be earned through daily rewards and streak bonuses.
- Optional token top-ups may be available as in-app purchases. These purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or app store policies.
- Tokens exist solely for use within the GeoPulse prediction market and carry no cash-out or withdrawal value.
4. The Prediction Market
GeoPulse hosts prediction markets on geopolitical events. Users place positions (YES or NO) on market questions using virtual tokens. Markets are resolved based on real-world outcomes according to predefined resolution criteria.
We make reasonable efforts to resolve markets accurately and fairly. However, geopolitical events are inherently complex, and resolution decisions are made at our sole discretion based on available evidence.
5. Content Policy
GeoPulse covers geopolitical topics only: politics, diplomacy, economy, security, energy, and infrastructure. The following content is not permitted on the platform:
- Sports, entertainment, or celebrity-related predictions
- Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Misleading or deliberately false information
- Spam, solicitation, or advertising
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
6. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu within the app. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your profile, prediction history, and token balance. Deletion requests are processed promptly in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and functionality of the GeoPulse Service are owned by Matador Solutions Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "GeoPulse" is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom (UK00004242913).
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GBP 50, whichever is greater.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
